February 5, 2004 - eCart Solutions, LLC announces release of version 1.0 of its content management system.

The eCart Content Management System (CMS) is a turnkey solution to a maintenance free web site. Using the eCart CMS web site owners can create, update, and modify all the content on their web site through a 128 bit encrypted, web-based administration console. No prior knowledge of web design or special software is needed.

With version 1.0 being released eCart is ready to promote and sell this new product at a price lower than ever thought possible to design a web site. "The system is scalable and modular, so adding new features and custom modules will be easier than ever", said Travis Miller, 22-year-old systems administrator, of eCart Solutions. "The framework is already there to build on so adding features for clients will be quick. We hope to increase our average turn-around time on a typical web development project by as much as 70%", said Jim Grill, 33-year-old project manager.

January 19, 2004 - eCart Solutions has enough confidence in the new eCart CMS to use it on its own site.

The decision to move forward was part of the company's plan to roll out the new product also scheduled for early February.


December 12, 2003 - eCart Solutions, LLC unveils its new flagship program through a partnership with Houston, TX based window covering manufacturer, Woodland Blinds, LP.

eCart Solutions, a Houston, TX based Internet application software development firm, began developing what it now refers to as the WBES  (Woodland Blinds Ecommerce System) program in mid 2003. The WBES program is a very large-scale web application that facilitates the online retailing of window coverings. The WBES system allows consumers to select from several types of widow covering products, enter window their measurements, and select from a wide variety of options. Consumers can get price quotes and place items into a shopping cart and even save the shopping cart for a later purchase. Jim Grill and Travis Miller, the main developers of the WBES system, say that their research and hard work paid off in a big way. "We are very excited to release this system", said Grill, the 33-year-old programmer from Michigan, "We wanted this shopping cart to be the best in the window covering industry - and I think we did it. Everyone who sees it loves it!" he added.

eCart Solutions, LLC signed a long-term contract with Woodland Blinds, LP in Early December 2003 to make the system available exclusively to its customers. Woodland Blinds has been manufacturing window coverings - mostly wood and faux wood blinds - since 1993 and provides window coverings to over a thousand retailers - both Internet and retail stores - throughout the continental United States. The first of Woodland Blinds' retailers began using the WBES system and taking online orders in early December 2003. "Our only interest in this program is get more of our products on the Internet." said Joe Gudka, President of Woodland Blinds, "We believe the future of retail window covering sales will be on the Internet."
